SH109 Automatic residual carbon analyzer
The SH109 fully automatic residual carbon analyzer is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of GB/T 17144-2021 "Determination of residual carbon in petroleum products (micro method)", "ASTM D4530" and "ISO 10370:1993" standards. It has the characteristics of beautiful appearance and easy operation. The test results are consistent with those of GB/T268 (Conics method) and are also suitable for detecting petroleum products composed of distillate oil with residual carbon values below 0.10 (m/m).
Petroleum residual carbon: The residue formed by the gas decomposition products emitted from an oil sample after heating, evaporation, and cracking. Expressed in terms of quality score
Principle: Place the weighed sample into a sample tube and heat it up to 500 ℃ in an inert gas (nitrogen) atmosphere according to the prescribed temperature program. The volatile substances generated during the reaction process are carried away by nitrogen, and the carbonaceous residue left behind is reported as a percentage of the original sample to determine the trace residual carbon value.
