ST110 Lovibond colorimeter

ST110 Lovibond colorimeter is a visual colorimeter, it using the international general Lovibond color degrees as the standard, can measure various liquids, colloids, solid and powder of chroma samples. Instrument has the advantages of simple structure, firm, the operation is very convenient, very suitable for cooking oil and other industrial and agricultural products, color measurement, in order to achieve the daily quality control.

Working principle

The instrument comes with a set of standard color filters ranging from light to dark, divided into three color series: red, yellow, and blue. The working principle of the instrument is based on the principle of color subtractive mixture matching. The optical system of the Lovibond colorimeter eyepiece refracts light at 90° and divides the observation field into two simultaneously observable parts, one for observing the sample color and the other for observing the reference color (Lovibond color unit standard filter). By appropriately selecting a combination of color filters to achieve the best match with the color of the tested sample, the Lovibond filter value displayed by the instrument is the measurement result of the tested sample.
